Dear friends and fans of Mairin,

I have no doubt that all of you have been wondering when you will receive your copy of “Inside A View,” or perhaps why you have’t received it already. Unfortunately, the events in our lives over the course of the last year, combined with lack of support for the band and unfulfilled promises and commitments, have made us unable to bring you the product that you deserved. As a result, we feel that the most appropriate course of action is to return your money to you, along with our apologies. We will also send you a print of the artwork to one of the songs on the EP. In the event that we become able to bring you the CD in its proper format and packaging, we will send you a copy free of charge. The album will be available for digital download in the meantime, here at the Bandcamp page. We humbly extend our deepest apologies for the delay. Words cannot express our gratitude for the contribution you did make and the support you showed just by ordering the EP.
If you have changed your Paypal address please update us as soon as possible so that you can receive your funds.

The costs of the CD’s to be printed in the package that Lloyd designed surpasses the demand by an extraordinary rate, as we’ve received approximately 15 orders and the package is in the thousands.

In other news, Lloyd has picked up where he left off January of last year and with Dan, arranging the first concept for the second movement of “Pictures of the Sun”.
Also in the interim we are rehearsing material from the acoustic album “Shutoff Notice” written between 2005-2006, for possible recording and live performance.

Meanwhile, Dan Rivera has recorded his very own EP and it is in the process of being mixed. It is an exception piece of work so be on the look out for it!

This project has become something much more than what I originally intended. I first began arranging and developing this concept for myself while living in upstate New York. It is based from letters and music that I wrote to people at certain landmarks in my life. I didn’t plan on it coming this far. But now we are here, the first half of what will become “Pictures of the Sun”.

I am elated and overwhelmed by the dedication of the musicians who have helped to create this first half, and that two of my very favorite musicians, Terran Olson and Greg Massi have participated in bringing this to fruition.

This EP, “Inside a View”, contains two songs that will not be on the album as a whole and the other two will be re-recorded.
The expenses for recording, mixing and mastering are completely self funded,we self promote and with your
help, finally release the album”

The last step before I can put this into your hands is cd manufacturing.
So here I am asking for Pre-sale orders.
All that I’m am asking is $10.00, anything more would definitely help in reaching the goal of the cd pressing, anything left over will go toward the budget of the full length recording.
